Tornado, Thunderstorm warnings across Chattahoochee Valley leave trees down, people without power

(WTVM) - Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm warnings made their way across the Chattahoochee Valley, but, thankfully, left minimal damage in its wake.

A tornado has been confirmed to have touched down in Eufaula.

Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were in place in each county throughout the WTVM viewing area at different times throughout the severe weather situation.

Storm Team 9 says that the Chattahoochee Valley is in the clear at this time.

Alabama Power reports that at least 91,000 customers are currently without power across the state.

Georgia Power reports more than 6,300 customers are currently without power in the Columbus area. Diverse Power in Troup County reports more than 150 customers are without power.

There have not been any reports of injury at this time.
